Natale: canticchiando Happy Xmas (War is over) di John Lennon

Si forse sarà un motivo musicale fin troppo noto, ma non ditemi che non vi viene spontaneo, ogni anno, canticchiare questo pezzo anche sotto la doccia. Sa del periodo profondamente, di pubblicità dei panettoni, di regali sotto l’albero, di decorazioni e di luci soffuse. Ricordo che in terza media, durante un evento a tema, tutta la scuola lo intonò e si creò un gran momento di condivisione prima della grande festa. E’ questo probabilmente il vero significato del periodo, della nascita di Gesù Bambino e di quella gioia che dentro sembra rinascere, peccato che noi l’abbiamo fin troppo dimenticato lo spirito tra consumismo, menù e ospiti in casa. Resta sempre un grande pezzo Happy Xmas (War is over) di John Lennon, insomma, che racconta in ogni strofa che cosa significa veramente per tutti quel giorno santo che corrisponde ogni volta al 25 dicembre.
