La stella di Betlemme che guidò i Re Magi

La stella di Betlemme oltre che una bella canzone di Natale in inglese è un curioso fenomeno astronomico. Recita il Vangelo secondo Matteo che fu la guida dei Rei Magi che in questo modo trovarono la grotta con Gesù Bambino. A volte si accosta alla stella cometa ma unisce due corpi celesti differenti tra di loro: la prima che vanta grandi dimensioni e si trova a enormi distanze dal sistema solare e appare fissa e la cometa, che è piccola, è all’interno del sistema solare e nel firmamento appare mobile.
